Teenage Girl Calls Off Her Relationship With Teacher-Boyfriend

The girl in the above photo is an 18 year-old Califonia student(Jordan Powers),who turned her back on her parents and friends and even left school,just to be with her 41 year-old teacher(James Hooker) because they were against her relationship with the teacher.


Hooker who who had ditched his wife and kids for Powers, in February, was arrested on friday in Modesto,Califonia after the police found out about his alleged sexual relationship with a 17 year-old student in 1998 when he was teaching at Davis High School in Modesto.Powers moved out of their shared apartment after he was hauled off to jail on Friday.

The girl told ABC News in an interview on Saturday morning  "He called me from jail and, yes, I told him that we're done,"I lost everything for this guy. I lost my senior year. I gave up all my friends at high school because they didn't agree with me.He told me that he met her online and he hung out with her just as friends and then he went to her house and she came out of the bathroom naked and he only touched her boobs and her legs," Powers told ABC. "He was freaked out so he left and went home. He said nothing else happened, but all of that was a lie."

They met when Powers was a freshman at Enochs High School, the couple swear they never acted on their love for each other until she turned 18. But Powers' mother went to police anyway, explaining that she found a series of text exchanges that proves Hooker had been preying on her daughter long before she was of legal age.
