Steven Kanumba (28 years old), was a multi award winning Tanzanian actor, with a career spanning over 10 years now. Kanumba had received numerous awards, including; Best Actor of the Year, 2006, Best Actor in Tanzania Award, 2007, Best Artist of the Year Award, 2007/2008.

Steven Charles Kanumba a Tanzanian Film actor died this morning,but the cause of his death is yet to be established.

Not only was Steven a Tanzanian household name, but he also acted in some Nollywood (Nigeria) movies with some of the greatest names on the Nollywood scene which expanded his career and experience from just being a Tanzanian star to an African star.
Not only was he a successful film star and producer, he was also very active in philanthropy. He had recently been named the OXFAM GROW ambassador for Tanzania.

Elizabeth 'Lulu' Michaels

Some said his death was as a result of a fatal car accident, while others say he was killed by an actress girlfriend after a quarrel.
According to unconfirmed reports,19 year old fast rising Tanzanian actress Elizabeth 'Lulu' Michaels is the person who pushed popular Tanzanian actor Steven Kanumba to his death.
Story has it that, Steven and Lulu were fighting over calls that were coming to her phone while she was at his home. He demanded to see the calls and the girl wasn't ready to allow him.As he was taking it by force, she pushed him and he fell, hitting his head hard. The fall killed him.and that she had been arrested.
