Dana Aircraft Headed For Abuja Makes An Emergency Landing In Lagos,Nigeria
The Nigerian Tribune has it on good records that a Dana aircraft,with 86 passengers onboard
from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State to Abuja, made an emergency
landing at the 19-R runway and was towed away after it blocked the
international runway of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
This incident took place on Thursday evening,as the aircraft suffered hydraulic pressure,which forced the pilot to declare an emergency landing.
The Corporate Communication Manager of Dana Air, Mr Tony Usidaimen, confirmed the incident.
“Our flight from Uyo with 86 passengers lost hydraulic pressure and when the captain noticed it, he declared an emergency and was asked to land on 19-R. Although there was no injury, there was a panic, because the evacuation team did not arrive on time,” he said.
The Director-General, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Dr Harold Demuren, who also confirmed the incident, said he was impressed with the fact that the pilot decided to land at the longer international runway, adding that “it shows that we are getting our safety management systems right”.

Stella who lost her husband some years back as we all know and a mother of two girls stated that Her recently widowed mother who had 5 daughters and a son,whom she lost in 1991 was a banker and that She also used to be an award winning opera singer and a stage actress,(no wonder stella has an amazing personality).

Two Members Of A Vigilante Group, Arrested For Killing A Man Sleeping With A Lady During Night Vigil
Well this story is kind of wierd to me but the news has being circulating round the internet.
Just 2 weeks back,a tragic death of a man occured in Agodi area of Ibadan,Oyo State.
The said young man and a certain young lady,were in a church night vigil.Or shold i say were supposed to be in the night vigil because dey sneaked out of the church to enjoy themselves.
As they were still on the act,two members of the Vigilante Group in the area noticed some unusual sound and movement at the spot were they were hiding. So they moved a closer and shouted “who is there” but there was no response from them.
They asked the question again and again but no response,so one of the men got angry and shot directly at the corner.Lo and behold, they heard the voice of a man groaning; as they moved closer, they found a man and a woman both naked.Unfortunately the man died at the spot.
Report has it that the two vigilante members had been arrested and are currently being detained at the Agodi Police station for murder case.
